Handwriting for Kids & Teens
For young writers we start with the pencil: how it is held and how the child sits. Then we build clean letters on guide lines and even spacing between words, so writing stops being a struggle.
Teens bring a different problem. Exam papers reward students who write a lot, quickly, and can still be read. We build speed and stamina for long answers, plus neat margins, headings and diagrams.

Good handwriting is mostly consistency
Drag the slider. The words are the same. What changes is how steady the writing is.
A steady baseline
Words stay on the line instead of drifting uphill.
Even letter size
The same height from the first line to the last.
Regular spacing
Clear gaps between words, so nothing runs together.
One consistent slant
Letters lean the same way, which makes writing calm and quick to read.

How a course works
The order matters. Speed comes last, because fast writing on a weak foundation only gets messier.

Look at the writing
We watch how the pen is held and how the child sits, and read a full page of writing. Then we pick out the two or three habits causing most of the trouble.
-
Reset grip and posture
A tight grip or a slouch tires the hand and shapes every letter. We correct both before anything else.
-
Rebuild letters and spacing
Letter shapes, size, slant and the gaps between words, practised slowly until they are automatic.
-
Add speed
Timed drills that raise speed while keeping the writing readable.
-
Practise real conditions
Students write exam-style pages and we review each one with them.
